A note from Coach Crook

I’m so excited to come out of retirement to continue to impact the lives of all of my tennis players. I am a certified USPTR Professional, and educator/coach now for 43 years, been an athletic director for People to People Sports Ambassadors escorting kids from all over the United States competing in international competition in England, Australia, New Zealand. Last year I was inducted into the National High School Tennis Coaches Association Hall of Fame. My passion is to serve Superintendent Dr. Jim Chadwell and the EMSISD tennis players. I also provide detailed instruction through the EMS Tennis Academy that I started 8 years ago offering free tennis to children from 2nd grade through high school and Friday Night Lights running drills. The Academy will launch again in the Fall of 2024 at Eagle Mountain High School. The best is yet to come!!!! Coach Crook

summer Tennis Camps 2025

Beginners Camp
8:00a.m.- 9:00 a.m.
This camp is specific to teaching the fundamentals of the game. Working on point of contact, hit with direction, footwork and so much more!!!
Intermediate Camp
9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m.
This camp is specific to advancing skills using game-based drills to enhance shot selections and strive for beginning the journey to compete in tournaments.
Tournament Players Camp
10:30a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
This camp is specific to advanced players desiring to play tournaments and get a higher UTR score and USTA ranking...
